RCG, L.L.C., as it is structured today, is the result of a combination of interests that span many years in the futures industry. Our oldest predecessor, Greene & Collins, was founded in 1923 and some of our present client base and contracts date back to those early days, proving that there is stability and reliability in an ever changing business.
RCG is a registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and is a clearing member of all principal futures exchanges in the United States. Through a network of foreign banking and clearing relationships, RCG accesses all markets, operating on a worldwide basis. Our headquarters is in Chicago, the nerve center of the industry, where we constantly rank as one of the leaders in volume clearing operations as well as ranking among the largest FCMs dealing exclusively in futures and options on futures.
Our traditional role as a full service FCM is augmented by our broad range of proprietary trading. Our trading activities allow us firsthand contact with every major market and enhance our ability to offer twenty-four hour trading for FX, NYMEX ACCESS, GLOBEX, EFPs, and PROJECT A.
To facilitate our trade in US Government Securities, RCG is a member of the Government Securities Clearing Corporation (GSCC). RCG was the first firm, in a purely FCM category, to be granted approval by the GSCC.
